v0.9.0 includes following changes since v0.8.2 (important ones are highlighted):

  1. Update deep learning models for all platform. Improved accuracy while maintaining same latency.
  2. Add skeleton support on Vive Focus and Vive Focus Plus.
  3. Add new pre-defined gesture: Victory.
  4. Reduced result jitterness, results are now much stable when staying still.
  5. Improved skeleton results to be more realistic hand poses for human.
  6. Improved accuracy on Vive Cosmos, detected hands should now match with see-through overlay.
  7. Pause detections when HMD tracking is lost.
  8. Detection restarts is now more stable on Windows.

Plugin related changes are listed below.

Unity Plugin

  1. Changed the way how skeleton results are applied to 3D hand model. The model is both more realistic and stable.
  2. Remove hand model texture to be less scary.
  3. Add script to skip WaveVR controller calibration in sample scenes.
  4. Minor tweaks and bugfixes in sample scripts.

Unreal Plugin

  1. Changed the way how skeleton results are applied to 3D hand model. The model is both more realistic and stable.
  2. Remove hand model texture to be less scary.
  3. Fixed a bug that hand does not appear when another hand is still visible.

Android Plugin

  1. Add support for skeleton results in Android interface. (For Vive Focus and Vive Focus Plus only)
