v0.9.0, 2019/12/13¶
v0.9.0 includes following changes since v0.8.2 (important ones are highlighted):
- Update deep learning models for all platform. Improved accuracy while maintaining same latency.
- Add skeleton support on Vive Focus and Vive Focus Plus.
- Add new pre-defined gesture: Victory.
- Reduced result jitterness, results are now much stable when staying still.
- Improved skeleton results to be more realistic hand poses for human.
- Improved accuracy on Vive Cosmos, detected hands should now match with see-through overlay.
- Pause detections when HMD tracking is lost.
- Detection restarts is now more stable on Windows.
Plugin related changes are listed below.
Unity Plugin¶
- Changed the way how skeleton results are applied to 3D hand model. The model is both more realistic and stable.
- Remove hand model texture to be less scary.
- Add script to skip WaveVR controller calibration in sample scenes.
- Minor tweaks and bugfixes in sample scripts.
Unreal Plugin¶
- Changed the way how skeleton results are applied to 3D hand model. The model is both more realistic and stable.
- Remove hand model texture to be less scary.
- Fixed a bug that hand does not appear when another hand is still visible.
Android Plugin¶
- Add support for skeleton results in Android interface. (For Vive Focus and Vive Focus Plus only)
